November 19-22: Plateaux Festival Torun/Bydgoszcz, Poland
Joshue Ott created artwork for the original poster and an official HD intro video for the festival. Ott will create live visuals in performances with the music by Ezekiel Honig, and Morgan Packard.

November 6th: 5707 + SuperDraw at St. Peter's Church, NYC
Joshue Ott will create improvised visuals for 5707, an improvised ultra ambient electronic duo at St. Peter's Church NYC. 5707 is Ryan Ferreira (Guitar and Effects), and Garth Stevenson (Double Bass and Effects).

October 13-17: View Partially Obstructed at Baryshnikov Art Center, NYC
View Partially Obstructed, an evening-length piece choreographed by Gina Gibney, explores the power of what cannot be seen or known for our vision is always limited by numerous factors, both physical and psychological. This new work will feature original music by Ryan Lott, live animation by superDraw/Joshue Ott, costumes and scenic design by Lex Liang, and lighting design by Kathy Kaufmann.

July 20: {R}ake at Monkey Town in Williamsburg.
{R}ake is a performance series of alternative and collaborative electro-acoustic music and video. Joshue Ott will use superDraw to create visuals for the music of Yoni Niv and Peter Evans. Joshue Ott will create visuals as part of Ryan Lott's incredible Son Lux at 92Y. Named Best New Artist of 2008 by NPR's All Songs Considered, Ryan Lott continues to create a brand new sound for each performance.

May 7th: Openings at AC institute in Chelsea.
Joshue Ott, Robert Dick, and Morgan Packard use Richard Kostelanetz’s score Openings as a starting point to create a live improvised interpretation of the work.

Part of the Communikey festival, Joshue Ott and Morgan Packard perform the next iteration of their collaborative work.

April 17th: superDraw workshop at Atlas Center, Boulder, Colorado.
Part of the Communikey festival, Joshue Ott will give an in depth history and tour of art created by superDraw as it evolves from simple flash experiment to processing sketch to java application and beyond. The talk will be punctuated by a demo of the multi-user version of superdraw: multiDraw, where all the audience members with iphones or laptops are invited to draw on the screen together and create live interactive art. Starts at 9am, FREE!

March 26: Son Lux at Nublu, NYC
Joshue Ott will create visuals as part of Ryan Lott's incredible Son Lux at Nublu. Named Best New Artist of 2008 by NPR's All Songs Considered, Ryan Lott continues to create a brand new sound for each performance.

February 26th: SOUNDTRACK at Monkey Town in Williamsburg.
Soundtrack is an experimental acoustic cinema project, where musicians create and interpret audio for live imagery. This second iteration will feature live improvised flute from the celebrated flutist Robert Dick , as well musicians Morgan Packard and Jose Ayala. This evening will also explore visuals by Peter Kirn (founder of createdigitalmotion.com), and residents Joshue Ott, Daniel Hai, and Sabina Hahn.

February 16th: Mini Optosonic tea at Diapason Gallery, sunset Park, Brooklyn.
OptoSonic Tea is a regular series of meetings dedicated to the convergence of live visuals with live sound. It's a performance followed by tea and an informal talk with the artists. Ezekiel Honig will create music to the visuals of Joshue Ott, and then discuss the performance and methods. Also performing will be Peter Shapiro with The Glass Bees.

four very talented digital artists/ musicians reveal the magic behind their art! From knob twiddling to programming custom-made software, each will discuss their specific set-up for music/ visual art production and performance and also give a demonstration for all to enjoy. includes a workshop on Morgan Packard's Ripple program, as well as a live crowd controlled demo of multidraw, the multi-user server based version of superDraw
